Brianna Cruz is the firm’s newest Litigation Paralegal. Ms. Cruz grew up in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and moved to Seattle in 2019 to attend the University of Washington. She graduated in 2022, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Psychology.

Ms. Cruz was originally drawn to the legal field as a result of her family’s difficult experience with the immigration process. Upon graduating, she went on to work as an Immigration Paralegal for Higuera and VanDerhoef PLLC in Seattle. During her time there, she discovered a newfound purpose for helping families navigate tumultuous times. Using what she learned while interning at Amara Adoption, as part of their Files Initiative Project,

Ms. Cruz decided to take the next step in her career working closely with Hemmat Law Group to improve the every day lives of families. She plans to continue her education through the UW’s Paralegal Certification Program.

Outside of the office, Brianna loves to read suspense/mystery books, try out new recipes, and play with her cats, Botitas and Hammi.
